The operator, the company Splavma s.r.o., which operates the canoe rental Splavma.sk and Campsite Nova Dedinka, processes the personal data of customers in accordance with the applicable legislation on the protection of personal data (GDPR). Given our philosophy, we minimize the scope of collected data exclusively to those most necessary for the provision of our services and fulfillment of legal obligations.

1. What data do we collect and for what purpose?

The scope of collected data varies depending on the service you use with us:

• When reserving equipment in the rental (Splavma.sk): We only save name, phone number, or e-mail address. This data serves exclusively for recording reservations, communication before rafting and possible resolution of situations when returning rented material.
• When staying at Campsite Nova Dedinka: For the purpose of recording hosted guests, as required by applicable legislation, we request from you upon arrival: first name and surname, identity document number (ID or passport), personal identification number, permanent residence address and country.
• When paying by invoice: We do not require or store other personal and company data from customers. Exceptions are only situations where the customer requests payment by invoice.

2. Data retention period

• Canoe rental: We store your basic contact data primarily for the duration of your reservation and until the moment of proper return.
• Campsite: We are obliged to keep the data from the guest book for the period determined by the relevant laws of the Slovak Republic.
• Accounting: We keep the data on accounting documents (invoices) for the period determined by the applicable accounting laws.

3. Right to delete data

We fully respect our customers' right to privacy. You have the right at any time to request the deletion of your personal data from our database (unless its further storage is ordered by law).

To delete your data, just write a simple request to the e-mail address: splavma@splavma.sk. Your contact details will then be deleted without delay.

4. Cookies

Our website uses cookies to ensure functionality and analyze traffic:
